Half-Day Transactional Analysis Workshop Outline
Delegates are introduced to Eric Berne’s Transactional Analysis model and the three core ego states — Parent, Adult and Child — including the distinction between Critical and Nurturing Parent, and Free and Adapted Child. They identify their own default patterns under pressure and learn to distinguish complementary, crossed and ulterior transactions using real workplace examples.
Delegates practise spotting ego states and transactional patterns in live conversations and everyday team interactions, and learn practical techniques for steering a conversation back to Adult-to-Adult when it starts to slip. They leave with a personal action plan — specific behavioural patterns to notice and manage differently from the very next working day.
