The Most Comprehensive FAA Mental Health Qualification — 21 Modules Across Two Days
The FAA Level 3 Award in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health (RQF) is the most comprehensive qualification in the FAA mental health framework. Delivered across two days and covering 21 modules with a minimum of 12 contact hours, it goes significantly further than the Level 2 qualification — exploring a wider range of mental health conditions in depth, including dedicated modules on depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, psychosis, schizophrenia, personality disorders and more, each with first aid guidance and treatment signposting.
It is accredited by First Aid Awards Ltd, regulated by Ofqual (England) and SQA (Scotland), and delivered by a qualified Nuco-certified Trainer/Assessor. On successful completion of two written assessment papers and a practical scenario, delegates receive a nationally recognised Level 3 certificate valid for three years.
