Project Management Training — Deliver Projects on Time, on Budget, on Brief.
Most projects run into trouble not because of technical complexity but because of poor planning, unclear objectives and unmanaged risk. This programme gives managers and team leaders the structured frameworks, practical tools and project confidence to take control of their projects from initiation through to successful delivery.
Practical and immediately applicable, every delegate leaves with a personal project toolkit they can use on their next project from day one — whether they are managing a small internal project or leading a complex cross-functional programme.

Half-Day Session vs Full-Day Programme
Both formats deliver real project management capability. The difference is breadth — how many tools and methodologies are covered and how thoroughly delegates apply them to live project scenarios.
| Half-Day Session | Full-Day Programme | |
|---|---|---|
| Positioning | Core project lifecycle — planning, risk and delivery tools covered practically | Full programme — lifecycle, methodologies, planning tools, stakeholder management, risk and live project scenarios |
| Duration | 3–3.5 hours | 6–7 hours |
| Best For | Managers needing a focused introduction or refresher in project planning and delivery essentials | Managers and teams investing in a genuine step-change in project delivery confidence and capability |
| Tools Covered | Project lifecycle, scope definition, Gantt chart basics and risk register | Full lifecycle, Agile/Waterfall/PRINCE2 overview, WBS, Gantt, PERT, risk management, stakeholder mapping and lessons learned |
| Scenario Work | One structured project planning scenario with group application | Multiple live scenarios covering planning, risk escalation, scope change and stakeholder challenge |
| Investment | Lower — easier to schedule around operational demands | Premium — stronger ROI through broader project competence and more consistent delivery outcomes |

Full-Day Project Management Training Programme
Delegates explore what a project actually is, why so many fail at the planning stage, and how to define scope, objectives and success criteria clearly before a single task begins. Covers initiation documents, stakeholder identification and the common causes of project failure.
Hands-on application of core project planning tools including Work Breakdown Structure, Gantt charts, PERT analysis and critical path. Delegates also compare Agile, Waterfall and PRINCE2 frameworks — understanding which approach suits which type of project and how to choose between them.
Delegates build a structured risk register for a live project scenario, practise stakeholder mapping and develop a communication plan. Covers scope creep, change control and how to manage the inevitable challenges that arise mid-project without losing momentum or stakeholder confidence.
The programme closes with project monitoring, delivery management and close-out — including how to run an effective lessons learned review and how to embed improvements into future projects. Each delegate leaves with a personal project plan framework ready to apply to their next project.
Designed for Anyone Who Manages Projects as Part of Their Role
This programme is for managers and team leaders who are responsible for delivering projects — whether they carry a formal project manager title or simply find themselves leading initiatives as part of their day-to-day role. No prior project management training or certification is required. The programme is equally relevant to those managing small internal projects and those leading complex cross-functional programmes.
